Mark Shouler

Managing Director & Project Manager

Mark joined Hofton and Son as a Joiner in 1991, he has since worked his way through the ranks to become Managing Director in 2013 and set up Hofton Project Management in 2019.

Mark is focused on developing Hofton Project Management for the future by offering our clients with a honest and professional service. Whilst providing the team with continued training to further compliment our existing services we can offer our clients.

From a trade background and 30+ years in Construction Management, Mark has a hands on approach to Construction Management which he considers to be an effective route to construction efficiency.

Mark keeps Hofton Holdings and Hofton Project Management at the forefront of building, property development, and property investment to ensure continued success and growth for these companies whilst observing and implementing market, legislative and environmental changes to ensure they are met.

Mark is focused on developing these companies for the future whilst maintaining a strong work ethic of professionalism and solidarity. Between managing the aforementioned companies, Mark is currently embarking on his Fellowhip of the Chartered Institute of Building, which he hopes to complete within 12 months.

On the odd occassion Mark is not working, he has a passion for automotive engineering and enjoys cycling, motorsport, sailing, windsurfing, and spending time with his family and two labradors.

Matt Marinelli

Matt’s career in construction started at an early age, progressively developing a multi-disciplined trade skill set over a 16-year period. Developing his career further, Matt now brings a powerful blend of practical and professional experience over the last 26 years on a range of projects throughout the UK. Matt has a holistic approach to Project and Cost Management working closely with the client to understand their requirements.

An experienced construction professional, Matt is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Building, offering his experience of the process to new recruits. Matt is currently working towards membership of the Royal Institute Chartered Surveyors. Matt is also NEBOSH trained in Health and Safety for Construction Management (UK).

At weekends, Matt can be found keeping active with his family, watching football and Formula 1, and working on his next DIY project.

Jo Wilson

Office Manager

Jo is our Office Manager and chief whip! Jo Started at HPM in 2021. Most of Jo’s background has been in the retail industry but took time out to raise her beloved family.

Jo’s key responsibilities are in accounts, office management, IT manager, property management, payroll and most important of all to keep Mark, Matt and Simon in check!

Jo is currently working towards her ‘Level 2 Certificate in Accounting’ at Grantham College and is a member of the AAT. Jo is also a keen cross-country runner and is currently training again for the summer events.
