News

Hofton Project Management Ltd has now obtained its ‘Retrofit Assessor’ accreditation through Elmhurst Energy (backed by ‘Trustmark’) to carryout ‘Retrofit Assessments’ as part of delivering PAS2035. As part of the ‘Each Home Counts’ review, set out by the government in 2015, PAS2035 provides a specification to address public owned, residential dwellings from a ‘whole-house’ approach.

PAS2035 Retrofit Assessments are carried out to assess the existing energy performance of the property, the occupants energy usage habits, and an overall visual survey of the condition of the building. This information combined generates a Retrofit Assessment report. The findings within this report provides a platform for the ‘Retrofit Designer’ and ‘Retrofit Coordinator’ to determine the most suitable energy efficient measures for a PAS2030 accredited installers to repair any fabric of the existing building as well as to install energy efficient materials or technology to be PAS2035 compliant.

Advances in sustainability is essential for the welfare of the planet our children’s future and the future generations to come. HPM are proud to be contributing to efforts in reducing carbon emissions and are keen to speak to local councils and affordable home providers to see how HPM can assist in achieving your PAS2035 obligations.
